I received my Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Tübingen, where I did my thesis in Systems Biology working on Qualitative Models with a focus on fungal impact on metabolic processes. Then I continued with my Master’s Degree in Molecular Biotechnology at TUM and worked on a Master's project in Lipidomics focusing on nutritional metabolites. Basically, I have a keen interest in both wet lab and dry lab and to bridge the gap between experimental and computational research. In 2024, I started my PhD in Ag Saur to work on a porcine model for colorectal cancer and investigate microbiome-related mechanisms of polyp progression and regression.
